Milan Puskar Health Right was founded in 1984 by a group of concerned citizens on the premise that:

“Every person has a right to health care regardless of their insurance status or ability to pay.”

Milan Puskar Health Right believes in the dignity and worth of all people. Basic non-judgmental health care is a right, not a privilege. MPHR provides compassionate care that starts with the expressed needs of the patient. MPHR advocates for patients individually and collectively at the local, state and national level to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Donations

Milan Puskar Health Right is supported, in part, by the United Way and various federal, state, and local grants. We depend in large part on donations and in-kind gifts from individuals. Please see our Donors page for more information.

Meet Milan Puskar Health Right’s clinic!

The clinic at Milan Puskar Health Right remains a vital lifeline for our community, offering compassionate, high-quality care to some of the most vulnerable individuals in our region. Our medical staff are the heart of this work. They are dedicated, hardworking, and deeply caring professionals who go above and beyond every day to ensure that each patient is welcomed with exceptional care.

These initiatives help deliver critical, often life-saving services to individuals who might otherwise go without. In addition to providing daily medical support, the team has expanded access to essential preventive care through several specialty clinics, including:

  • Bonnie’s Bus for Mammography Screenings
  • Colorectal Cancer Screening Day
  • Appalachian Vison Project Day
  • Cervical Cancer Screening Day
  • HIV and Hep C Screening Days
